CVS reusable bag program and extra bucks

anyone else buy the tag? for 99 cents I bought a tag to attach to my bag. every time I shop there they scan the tag. On the 4th visit you get $1 in extra bucks. so about 25 cents per bag/visit! not too bad. of course you need to go 8 times to get the $1 since you have to pay first. which is a bit irritating! but at least it is something.

I don't go to CVS that often so I don't bother with the program, but it is a good idea for people who go there a lot.  I wish they would just do 0.10 per bag or something like that, I doubt many people are as great as you are and remember to bring the reusable bag, tag, and remind the cashier to scan it every time.  Then you have to remember to use your extra bucks.  I never keep track of the extra buck printouts I get when I go.  They look just like receipts so I keep accidentally tossing them when I clean out my wallet.

I've been using it for months now and it's a great way to earn extra bucks. I go there often and I just leave the tag on my reusable bag that I take everywhere. It has happened where I've forgotten to tell them to scan it though and they never do it if you don't remind them.

I have the tag on my purse strap, tucked inside my purse, because I never take in the same bag every time.  If I buy something, don't have my bag but don't use a plastic bag, they will still scan it.

i have all of these same problems.  i wish they would just give up the tag crap and just give 10 cents or whatever for bringing in bags.  i'm so sick of all the different gimmicks at all the different stores- too much to keep track of.
