Concord, MA bans water bottles!
Re: Concord, MA bans water bottles!
I'm with SG on this. Demonizing and banning one product isn't going to solve the world's waste problems. It seems kind of abitrary, like why not ban sandwich bags instead?
I use bottled water rarely, but I do it. I make a point to reuse or recycle the bottles, even if it means carrying it while the people around me toss theirs in the trash. What about stuff like distilled water, which you can't get from the tap but is useful for certain purposes?
I'm not a fan of the big buisness that water bottling/ manufacturing has become, and believe their hearts are in the right place with the ban, but I think this issue should be approached differently.
