i'd like to get a good rewards type credit card and start using it for all of our monthly purchases, and then just paying it off at the end of the month. dh now gets paid weekly and it's really annoying...and i figured why not get something out of it? do any of you girls have a card that you like?
Re: rewards credit cards
We don't currently have a rewards ceridt card other then my one through wells fargo but i want us to get a chase saphire one. I hear the reward are really awesome on there,
We do, it's a Chase Freedom card.
Also, our Chase Debit card gives us points everytime we use it as a Credit. We've gotten a bunch of GC's already and it's only been a year since we've opened it. It costs $25 a year but we def. get way more than that in return as we only use our card and hardly ever carry cash.
we did that with our wf card and always use our card also...but i wasn't a huge fan and i was annoyed having to pay for it lol. we have a "cushion" in our account for the bills that go over his weekly paycheck (like the mortgage) but i hate going under the cushion amount and i just think it would be easier to use a cc each month and then pay it off
We have the same as Stac! We also have the Costco Amex and usually get a nice fat reward check out of that at the end of the year. I like them both.
You could always look into one of those miles cards? A lot of folks like those...
We have exactly this, although we don't use our chase freedom card much (it just serves as an overdraft protection for our checking account). I keep meaning to look more into the freedom card to see what kind of points we would get and maybe make the switch to start using that more exclusively instead of the debit card. The $25 fee annoys me, but we get way more in gift cards back on it, too, so I just suck it up.
Can't wait to meet my baby boy!
Honestly- I get so many miles from traveling, hotel, and rental car stays, that my rewards card is the Disney card (surprised?)
We love it!
Jenn- you like Disney, huh!?

My boobies belong to cour10e
I have a chase amazon card (which i love) and a chase freedom card.
I never use the freedom card, but am always putting my bills on the amazon card.

i have the Citi card which gives you thank you points and there are a slew of items to choose from as well as cash if thats what you'd like. they go by points and you can save up for a large reward or cash in for something small at anytime. Its a good card.
then I have AMEX bluesky card. The points add up super fast and you get awsome flight rewards but the customer service sucks to high heaven. I use it because Costco only take AMEX so it comes in handy for them, than i use it as a write off for business.
I too pay them off or down every month but reap the benefits. (best of both worlds) rewards and travel
