I know I'm whining - but the A/C is still not working and now the office phones are down - I've called the phone company they say it's not them, so then I called the actual company we bought the phones from the very unprofessional service guy said "I'll try to get someone over there" yeah I have a lot of confidence that's going to happen - so it's almost 85 degrees in my office and even if I wanted to work, I can't, cause I can't call clients / engineers - which I need to be able to do - ugh - I'm leaving at 2.

That sucks.  I think you are an hour ahead of me, so it looks like you'll be leaving soon.  Enjoy your anniversary!

Since it's almost 2 there, I think it's a great plan.  Otherwise I would've said "Can't you leave earlier?!" LOL

It's like what - day 4 - for you to not have A/C?!  I wasn't happy and whined after 3/4 of a day yesterday, and then it wasn't quite 85 in here.  (Luckily, my work has the heating/AC guy on standby.  No kidding, he might as well have an office here because he's here more than some of the employees!)

I just feel bad because I've had two clients who spent the morning trying to get a hold of me because we didn't know the phones were down, by the time I finally got to talk to them it was too late to meet them, so I have to do it tomorrow, but I also don't want them to come to the office while the A/C is out because it's miserable - it's been broken for about a month, but we haven't needed it - so of course my boss left on vacation today, so he doesn't really care (A/C still works in his office any way) so now I'm having to deal with all of it. I'm leaving now, it will all be here for me to deal with tomorrow.
