Backyard ideas needed!!!
My yard is washing away! The problem is that the soil is very sandy & rocky and all the rain we've had doesn't help. We have tried filling in the holes that are washing out, but that only seems to work temporarily. DH & I are thinking about putting up a retaining wall. FIL suggested doing like 3 tiers in the wall to plant stuff, plus help it look better than looking out the window at a stone wall.
What are your thoughts or suggestions! TIA

Do you have photos to share? The regulars usually have good feedback if they have good info to work with.
I'm new here and to gardening, so I'm still learning myself. I can say that I know from experience that erosion tends to happen in sloped and unplanted areas, but you'll get better feedback if you provide more details. GL!
