I am new to a lot of things.....new to the nest, new to married life, and new to the area (sorta). I am a college student and newly married which limits what I have in common with people at school. I would LOVE to get to know some people in the area who are possibly going through the same things as me (school, getting married, etc). I moved to Portland almost two years ago but I don't know what to do or where to go in the area. Any ideas?? I want to become a true Portlander!

Hi and welcome!
What school do you go to? I go to PCC, but will be transferring to PSU in the fall.
And as for fun things to do - there are SO many! DH and I love Saturdeay Market, the farmers markets, Hawthorne and Belmont shopping.
And of course we have monthly get togethers (GTG's) that you should come to!

Hi Bre! It's Laura :-) How are you?? So glad to see you and Scott are doing well. Are you guys living on campus or over near there somewhere?
As far as what to do - well, my softball team is looking for more players for this summer! You could come play with me
What other kinds of things are you guys looking to do? Have you hiked Multnomah Falls yet? There's a cool glow in the dark putt putt place downtown called Glowing Greens. Pittock Mansion is cool, but you need to go twice, once in the summer and once at Christmas. Comedy Sportz is fun. Ummm....let me keep thinking.
