2) What was the best vacation you took? It's a tie between our trip last year when we went to Niagara Falls in Canada and then drove to my aunts house in Ohio & when we took DD and her DH and Step-DD and her friend to Florida in 2006. I really enjoyed the family time.
3) Have you ever been out of the US? Yes If so when/where? Canada last year and Mexico on our honeymoon cruise. Any bad experiences? No not really, other than I was a little worried that I wasn't going to be able to get into and out of Canada without my passport (which I couldn't find before we left). But I didn't end up just needing my birth certificate.
4) Since you have been married have you and DH every vacationed with others (family, another couple, friends,)? Yes as I mentioned above that we took the family with us to Florida and also when we went to Niagara Falls my sister and her DH rode with us. How did that work out? It worked out okay, except when my sister and her DH assumed that they were going to ride with us and I assumed that they were following us in their own car. In the end it was okay.
1) How often do you go on vacation? About every 2 year. T minus 28 days until our next vacation to the Bahamas. Woo hoo!!!
2) What was the best vacation you took? They've all been really good. Turks and Caicos was gorgeous.
3) Have you ever been out of the US? If so when/where? Any bad experiences? Lived in Spain for a year and visited Germany and France. Best experience of my life
4) Since you have been married have you and DH every vacationed with others (family, another couple, friends,)? How did that work out? Aruba with family for a wedding. It was fun, but we needed our alone time. Grand Cayman with another couple. Lots of fun, but I was pg so didn't get to have the full experience. Will go to Bahamas with my family for my mom's b-day. We're all in a condo together and it won't surprise me if someone doesn't come back alive.
1. We usually take 2 trips a year.
2. Best vacation- really hard to say, they're all great! But I'll go with our trip to Panama. Big city, Corona commercial islands, mountains, lots of relaxing.
3. Been to Belize three times, Costa Rica twice, Panama, Bahamas and we're headed to Nicaragua in January. No bad experiences whatsoever.
4. We've gone to the gulf coast with my family a couple times. I love it. Camping with friends is awesome too.

2) What was the best vacation you took? I loved Hawaii! Maui and Oahu.

Been to Europe twice, and I'd love to go back. 2nd time I went on my own (well, visited 2 friends, but that was all of 2 days). Scary to go abroad by myself, but it wasn't that bad while I was there. The first time I went over to Europe, Delta messed up the flights bad and I was basically screwed out of a day of sightseeing. Grrr. But it all worked out with the jet lag.
4) Since you have been married have you and DH every vacationed with others (family, another couple, friends,)? How did that work out?
I've done 2 vacations with family since married. Once was to Hawaii (about 20 of us altogether) for a cousin's wedding (he was our best man, so my DH was his best man... worked out nice!). The wedding was on Maui, but my MIL and SIL HAD to go with us to Oahu afterwards. It was hard to get them to realize I was dropping hints that I wanted just couple time in paradise. I enjoyed the 10 days for the most part... we didn't have nearby seats on the plane and had separate hotel rooms. We did a few excurstions and meals together.They started to "get it" around day 7.
I've also taken my MIL to visit my parents near Washington DC to do the tourist thing. Never again will I do that. *MY* vacation got to be spent getting up at 6am to see museums for the 20th time in my life. I didn't get to do much with friends or pick oddball things that I wanted to see, since we were hitting up the major landmarks. I know I had to suck it up for MIL, but by day 5 at one museum and told my Dad and DH in a sulky voice that "I need a vacation from my vacation." Thank god all my sibling-in-law all did the 8th grade DC trip and won't ask to come out... FIL hates traveling, so he'll never go anywhere.
MIL is asking when we are going to Mexico so she can plan her next vacation with us. I told DH I am done traveling with family. I love my MIL, but a vacation is also good couple bonding time and we don't get as much when she's tagging along.
I go on mini vacations several times a year (aka weekend trips), and then one big vacation which is typically 4-7 days.
Best vacation has been the cruise i went on two years ago. AMAZING trip
Yes, I went out of the US for the 7 day cruise. We went to Belize City, Costa Maya, Cozumel and Nassau. Didn't like Nassau - too commerialized.
No, we have not vacationed with others. In fact, I rarely vacation with Dh - I have gone on several of my mini vacations by myself or with friends. I think it'd be fun to go with another couple or friends, but DH isn't a big traveler.

2) What was the best vacation you took? I think our best was our honeymoon (we went to Tahiti - Bora Bora and Moorea and it was wonderful!!!), a close second would be our cruise to the Bahamas, it was VERY relaxing (we visited Coco Cay and Nassau).
3) Have you ever been out of the US? If so when/where? Any bad experiences? Yes... Many places: in Europe I've been to London, Paris, Florence, Venice, Rome, Pisa, Barcelona, Madrid, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Luxemburg and Brugge. In Japan I visited Tokio, Yokohama, Osaka, Kobe and Kyoto. In Mexico I've been to Cancun, Guadalajara, Guanajuato, Mexico City, Queretaro. I can't say I've had really bad experiences the only thing that was not that great was discovering that I had been ripped off a couple of times in Rome (once when we just got off the train, once in St. Peters square) because at that time they still used Liras, so it was confusing to really know how much you were paying right off the bat...
4) Since you have been married have you and DH every vacationed with others (family, another couple, friends,)? How did that work out? We've only gone out with friends, it was a New Years trip to Big Bear, CA... I thought it worked out fine, but we ended up spending a lot of time apart/separate, and when we got back we talked and realized none of us wanted that... But that was our own "fault" for not talking about it there.
1) How often do you go on vacation? at least once a year. three or four times a year if you count visiting family as a vacation.
2) What was the best vacation you took? probably our honeymoon in the Dominican Republic. Not much can beat a week on a beautiful beach.
3) Have you ever been out of the US? If so when/where? Any bad experiences? Vancouver Canada and the Dominican Republic. No bad experiences here.
4) Since you have been married have you and DH every vacationed with others (family, another couple, friends,)? How did that work out? yup. we rented a house on the beach in north carolina with another couple for a week. had a great time.
