What was the most random wedding gift you received?
Re: QOTD
We received a 1" by 3" 'Live Laugh Love' little wood thing by one of IL's neighbors that weren't invited to the wedding. The thought was nice, obviously, but I'm pretty sure it went right into the trash. It was too small to put up anywhere and H and I aren't quote people, so it's not even like we'd even have a big version posted above our entrance door or something.
We also got things from one of the GM that is totally for H. We plan on finishing our basement and H wants to do it a Penn State theme (white chair rail and blue paint above that) and he got us a Penn State Fathead wall decoration thingy. NMS but whatever, made DH happy.
Yesterday we got a Krumkaka press from one of my great aunts. Krumkaka is a Norwegian cookie that I have no idea how to make. My family is super Scandinavian, so its not that far out there. However, when DH opened the box yesterday he was like "WTH is this thing?" I know what my summer project is going to be...
Someone also gave us 3 seasons of the Dog Whisperer. Umm, OK.

We didn't get any gifts that were in and of themselves strange. The weirdest situation though was probably from DH's uncle. He called to ask where we were registered and if we'd like something off our registry (yes). He then proceeded to go to the other big department store and buy something we hadn't registered for (drip coffee-maker). We think he forgot which store it was and was too embarrassed to ask again, then got to the wrong store and figured what the hell, he'd just get us something generic.
It would be useful if we hadn't gotten the espresso-maker that we DID register for. I think we're going to sell it, since it didn't have a gift receipt and therefore can't be returned. Ah well, thought that counts!

H's friends all gave us random items ranging from a crystal bowl on a marble pedestal with chandelier crystals to a tea pot shaped like a cow with a goodwill sticker left on the bottom. Granted, each came with a check.
The most random serious gift came from my biological maternal grandmother. She sent an orange glass basket. Orange might be my favorite color, but WTH do we do with it now?!
