AI (spoilers)
I would have been happy with either of those 2 winning but in the past few weeks Lee had really won me over. Each week he gave me chills when he sang! Soo good! And he just seems like he is so genuine!
I love Chicago and always have but boy they did not sound good last night. Lee outshined them by far.
And Joe Cocker. Love him too... but he seemed to be struggling.
Anyone elses thoughts? How'd everyone like Janet's new do? She looked beautiful but I felt like that dress was too much now that her head looks so small.
I'm sad that Simons leaving. He made that show.
Re: AI (spoilers)
Actually, I did not watch it, but when I saw the recap on the news, it looked like I missed out on a good show. I could not believe the number of performers they had on there - Alice Cooper, Bee-Gees, Janet, Christina, and the past AI winners.
I kept reading rave reviews on Lee, so I was not surprised to hear that he won. Sounds like he was a good choice.
The only time that I watched AI this season was during the auditions. It was hard to watch Ellen. She seems sweet and everything, but her feedback on everyone's performances was hard to hear. You could tell that she was struggling to give constructive feedback. However, I have heard that she was getting better week over week, but still.
I am curious to know who will replace Simon. I predict that AI will end after next year. Or I could be wrong. ...
I haven't been a fan of AI since the Taylor Hicks debacle so I only knew vague stuff about the finalists. Guy who won seems cute and talented, the runner up has a good voice, I liked that she sang with Alannis.
The finale was a train wreck of epic proportions. It was like Idol's salute to the 70s/80s. Hall & Oates? Michael McDonald? Chicago?
We were not amused.
