When we were in FL in June we went to the Gap outlet. I bought Brianna two sets of pj's- t-shirt and matching shorts. I noticed about a month ago that one set is wearing terribly. There are holes everywhere on the shirt and shorts almost like a moth got to it or from bleach ( which I never use on her clothes). The other set is just fine. Having no recipet to return them I decided to bring them back to the Gap store at the mall hoping they would exchange them. Nope, no luck. They would not do anything for me, but told me I had to drive to an Outlet store to exchange them, but there is no guarantee they would. The outlets and the store are two different companies??
Has anyone bought these pj sets before?

Re: Ugh... Gap Kids
I worked for Gap, Inc. for two years... if you bring them to an outlet they will work with you. Washed and worn with no reciept too....... Gap Retail (as well as Banana Rep. and Old Navy) are all one part of the company and then the Outlets are all under a seperate company. Gap Retail can be a touch on the crazy side when it comes to returns, but the outlet usually will work with you 100%. Something else too is if you buy something at the Retail Gap and bring it back to the outlet, they will take it (or at least they used to, but not vice versa, we never really understood why)
I'm sorry you had a bad experience with the retail store!! Good Luck!!!
