I want one of these soooooo bad! My mom has one and she thinks it's the handiest thing ever. It's been on my birthday list for the past 5 years running but I still don' t have one. I'm thinkin' it's time I just go get the darn thing for myself!

Do you have any of the attachments? I'd love to be able to make homemade pastas.

Aww, I'm jealous.  Can't wait to use ours.  We have one, but it's sitting in a storage shed until we get a house.    Yay for ur DH cooking though.  Isn't that wonderful?!?

I'm jealous too! I've been wanting one so bad, I think it'll be on my xmas list this year  But my DH won't be able to touch it because he'd probably break it trying to figure it out.

I have wanted one for 3 years now. I finally got DH to buy it for us last week. We got a red one And I seriously am the most spoiled girl in the world. DH cooks and bakes and cleans and is amazing all the time. I don't know what I did to deserve him  

I don't have any attachments yet but DH wants to get the meat grinder. I'd love the pasta attachment... or the ice cream maker

DH said today "You know, if you had said you wanted this for me we would have got it a long time ago!" It was his first time using it and he might have a crush on it.

Fondue II

I really don't know how I managed before I got my KA mixer.  I have it in a glossy black.  It was used just yesterday to make a cream cheese pie---so smooth and rich!  Mmm mmm mmm!

 I have the pasta roller and cutter attachments.  It's so much easier to make fresh pasta than I ever thought it would be.  Although, once you have fresh pasta, it's a very strong possibility that you could become a pasta snob and turn up your nose at that stuff that comes out of a box.

The first "big" purchase i made on my first credit card was to buy my KA! and it has been my bestie in the kitchen ever since... I really want to pasta attachments... maybe that will be on my Christmas list this year Mine is white and is that one you like crank up and down not the one where the top lifts up and down.  i hope that part made sense hahaha

Homemade bread is soooo yummy!  There was an issue of Mother Earth News a few months ago featuring homemade bread recipes and some are so yummy I found it hard to buy store bought again (though didn't have enough time to make my own whenever I needed it).

I'm a little concerned for my KA Mixer right now.  I moved some of my stuff to Phoenix for storage and I set it in a bin on it's side.  When I get to where it's being stored I took it out of the bin and oil had pooled beneath it!  So now I have to figure out what to do before I start using it again.  I'm hoping I can just call the company and they'll tell me how to do it myself.  I will cry if I have to send it in and it'll take 6-8 weeks to get back to me or whatever!  I WANT MY MIXER!!!!
