Re: nba finals
I will be there tonight with dh cheering for the Suns. But I'm not sure if we can pull off 2 in a row, again.
Well, Finals are set, and it's Lakers/Celtics. I was really cheering for the Suns, but I figured the Lakers would take it.
I'm so tired of seeing the same teams in the Finals...it's getting old. I'll probably watch since the Lakers-Celtics are a classic match-up, but I'm so over it.
And I'm cheering for the Celts. I mean, come on - they've got the comeback story of the playoffs. A four seed going for a championship? I know they're the freaking Boston Celtics and all, but thinking back to pre-playoffs talk, just about nobody thought they'd get to this point. It's been quite a ride for them.
I was away for the weekend so sorry I haven't posted some trash talking yet.
I think the Celts will win, but I fear that is the homer in me. The matchup looks good, the series will go deep (6 or 7 games) and the play will be physical. But I am concerned about our injuries (Rondo and Wallace both have bad backs). But PP is The Truth and can turn it on in the playoffs like noone else! LA can't handle The Truth!
I sympathize with the non-LA/BOS fans getting sick of this matchup. And true to my prediction last week, I saw a highlight clip of McHale clotheslining Rambis just last night. It's On!
