Between UFC, Stanley Cup, NBA playoffs and Big 12 baseball, last night was a freaking crazy sports night for me. I missed Halladay's perfect game but caught highlights when I got home.
My dad's from Philly - he was a pretty happy camper last night about that.
Very cool! But people really didn't know what was going on until the 8th?! I know you don't talk about it, but usually you start thinking about it by at least the 5th....

I mean everyone knew the Marlins hadn't gotten a hit yet and may have known about the possibility earlier but people weren't getting loud about it til the 8th. It's harder to remember about the walks since the scoreboards don't post that and he was close to walking people so many times.
DH said he was anxious since the 6th and almost didn't let me pee in the 7th in case I jinxed something but since I'm pregnant that wasn't really an option.
