I want to have a "cone" party where all the food is served in paper cones so people can grab one and walk around and eat...
I know that I can put candies in some, french fries, and of course ice cream, but what other foods would work in a cone? I've heard of pizza cones, but don't know how to make them...what do you think?

Re: Cone ideas...
anything you can eat with your hands -
chicken fingers
chicken satay or beef skewers
Popcorn
Nuts
Mac and Cheese
I saw a cute idea for making fajitas in a cone where you make the cone out of tortillas!

a nice big over-stuffed waffle cone full of chopped liver. (kidding - but bonus points for anyone who can name that movie!)
Is there something you can do with dip in the bottom? Like a spear or two of romaine in a cone, with dressing in the bottom?

Yes, you don't see that many meats on sticks. You know what I would like to see? I'd like to see more meat in a cone. You don't hardly ever see that. That's an idea that I think is waiting to pop. - There's something about Mary
I like the dip in the bottom idea though
Glad I'm not the only one who loves that movie!
What about fruit salad and forks? (nothing too juicy, of course)
I think you can put almost anything in a cone shape if it's dry enough.

This is a cool idea. How are you going to prop up the cones? I was thinking tubs with sand or rocks in the bottom but maybe there's something more obvious I'm missing.
Or you could just have the food out and the cones out and people fill their own cones.
The popcorn shrimp is an awesome idea.
