I had a good weekend, but even at 3 days it was too short.
Friday: Bought a book, went to Big Bang Friday at the Big A
Sat: I totally don't remember. Wow.
Sun: Writing at Panera, hung out at H's friend's beach house
Mon: Bday lunch, mellow hour or so at the beach house
This week...just trying to start closing things down for the school year. I still have no word on my job for next year, and I'm feeling sad about it.
It was a pretty good birthday weekend.
Friday: Don't remember. Must not have been that great.
Saturday: Went to my grandparents' house in Corona. Surprisingly there wasn't much traffic. Printed out a bunch of photos from Grandma's 80th birthday party last month. Hung out.
Sunday: Made it home from Corona doorstep to Midway City doorstep in 35 minutes. It was great to have no traffic what so ever. BBQ at my mom's. Birthday cupcakes.
Monday: Laundry and H did yardwork. Hung out with LBIL and LSIL. H and I went out to dinner. We haven't done that in a long time. A long time for us, that is.
This week is going to be a bit busy. But a good busy.
When did you find out about your job last year? Didn't they leave it to last minute?
I hope they tell you soon.
I had a great weekend. Sad to be back at work but at least its Tuesday.
Friday- dinner and SATC with my mom, friend and her mom
Saturday- gym, lunch, park, errands, dinner
Sunday- zoo, pool, drinks with my friend who's moving in a week
Monday- beach in the morning, pool in the afternoon, dinner with same friend
Friday: Closed on our new home in the afternoon but had to wait until 11pm to get keys due to the 91 closures (after attempting to go Carbon Canyon to the 71 -> 60 -> 15 - we made it 3.6 miles in 2 hours).
Saturday: Haircut, packed, ran a few trips back & forth. Watched a bit of the fight with the neighbors who threw us a welcome party.
Sunday: Supervised the major move with the big truck while I attempted to wrangle the baby and pack.
Monday: Trips back & forth between the houses, cleaning, unpacking.
This week - finish up the move completely, a crapton of unpacking.

fri: my flights were delayed so I didn't end up getting home until about 11pm. ;(
sat: errands, chilled, got pizza and watched the laker game. or at least part of it before I passed out.
sun: bike ride, went to dinner
mon: yard work, packed/chilled
this week: I'm back in tulsa. ;( I am so.feking.over.traveling.com - and work wants me in alabama next week.
repeat to self: it's nice to get a paycheck, it's nice to get a paycheck.
Oh man Jess I hope they come through for next year. Some teachers have it so rough with this emotional roller coaster about waiting to see about the next year, and it's just so messed up. I'm hoping for good news for you!
My weekend was great, I got to relax a lot. I spent my birthday relaxing and got to see my buds and got FARMVILLE goodies. I mean, that, along with Olive Garden - such a win win win winwiwniwniwninwiw situation.

Weekend was GREAT - stayed at the JW Marriot in Phoenix, food, fun, and drinks were had by me and the H. We pretty much stayed at the hotel and chilled out. Or at least I thought we were chilling out. H had a panic attack today which he mistook for a heart attack, and he had an ambulance pick him up and take him to the hospital. He's completely fine, but he thought going on the trip just made him more freaked out about all the business he needed to take care of when he got back.
I've never been one for relaxation techniques, but I was like, "Dude, you need to look into some yoga." I think he feels stupid now, but something needs to give if he keeps having panic attacks.
This week: work shiitstorm. Yay!

Dang, I was hoping that they had hired you back by now. I am still keeping my fingers crossed. If I hear of any High School English positions through the TFA loop , I will let you know.
This weekend, it was all baby all the time.
Saturday: Visitors came to see her. Mr.Kirkette & I actually got to go on a mini date (shopping) and leave baby with grandma. Some people wait years before leaving their children with other people. We lasted 4 days.
Sunday: Church and more shopping
Monday: More visitors and dinner out with SIL/ BIL/ MIL and nieces and nephews.
Congratulations Kirkette! I heard you posted on other boards that your little one finally arrived but I couldn't find where so I want to officially congratulate you and welcome you to the Mothers of Beautiful Baby Girls club! :-)
My weekend was nice. Nothing too exciting, I saw the SATC movie which was way less crappy than I thought it would be, read, couched, celebrated a friend and farmgirl's bday followed by more reading and couching.
This week is busy with work and school and mothering and hopefully some more reading.
