Over the weekend I noticed that I had lost a stone (I have a 5 stone diamond band). We bought the warranty but I was a little nervous about taking it in because I have missed a few cleaning and inspection check ups but they accepted it no problem. It had to be sent to the corporate office for a new stone (we purchased it at a small, regional jeweler) - hopefully I get it back soon.
I don't have an e-ring so my hand really is naked for now.
Re: I'm wedding ring-less
aww
i left my rings at home by accident before a work trip once - i kept almost-freaking out about not feeling my rings! i even made a little band out of a paperclip, but it didn't help, hand still felt naked, hah.
but yay for the replacement and repair being covered by insurance!
Yeah, sometimes, I take off my rings when I'm kneading dough to prevent getting my rings gunky, and then I forget to put it back on. The next morning, when I'm at work, I'll freak out for a second when I realize I'm wedding ring-less =P I'm glad they're able to replace the stone for you though
Hope it gets back to you soon!
Haha, I love this
So cute!
Do you have another ring that you can wear in the meantime? I have one that I wear when I travel overseas that won't bother me if it got lost, stolen, etc.
MH and I rarely wear our rings on the weekends and never wear them once we're home so I don't usually feel too naked without it.
I would feel naked too.
In fact, that's how I remember to take my meds in the morning. If I dont have my wedding ring on, then I didnt' take them - they are right next to each other!
Hope it comes back soon
Awww... towards the end of my PG, my fingers were so swollen and fat that I had to take them off.
You could buy a CZ from Macy's for really cheap-- they're fun (especially if you get the really big ones)

I'm just happy they honored the warranty. I looked at the reciept and it was only $50 and I think we have probably gotten our money's worth now.
I should try to find another ring to wear in the meantime, but my fingers are surprisingly small (ring finger is a size 5) so it's often a little hard to find the fun cheapy kind.
I should probably take mine off a little more often but I just rarely remember I have it on because it's so small.
