Where has everyone been lately? I've had to go to other boards to be entertained. Hope everyone is doing well!

Teaching first grade has greatly reduced my nesting time
My foreign exchange student is doing well - he's getting much better at English and we're really enjoying showing him America. That's pretty much my life right now!

Were not gun shy we just dont want the BS to start again. This is why I no longer post.
As a newbie to the board, I've been a little shy about jumping into some of the more controversial discussions (i.e. politics). Not knowing everyone's perspectives, I don't want to offend anybody.
Maybe some fun "getting to know you" type threads or polls or something would bring the newbies and lurkers out of hiding?

I'm not really supposed to be on at work, and my evenings are pretty full at home with my family. I try to hop on here and there during the day and some on the weekends.
I got sick of all of the BS too. It was getting way out of hand. I think everyone was becoming irritable because of it and the board just wasn't fun anymore. I hope we can get back to our friendly, fun board one of these days.
