Hostessblog.com recently featured some "celebrity" co-ed showers. One was french-circus and one was cirque de soilel... haha, I just realized how similar that sounds.
My friend recently had a casino night co-ed shower. It was really more of a party with baby gifts at the front of the house. No games, just a few raffles and predict-the-baby's-due-date pool
As far as other themes, how about going with a type of food: sushi, mexican, spanish tapas, etc. HTH.
