Hi I was wondering if you ladies might have some advise for me, I am hosting a very large co-ed baby shower (aprox. 100 people). It is casual (bbq) and loosely bee themed (the invites had bees, banner says "baby bee aiden marie") I am at a loss of what to do about favors or if I even need them. I was originally going to do specialty honey and "bee" brand playing cards, but then I found out how big the mom's family really is and due to financial reasons my original ideas went out the window
any ideas ?
Re: baby shower favors
I agree that favors are completely unnecessary. HOWEVER, if you feel the need to do them make it edible- bee shaped cookies, or honey flavored candies. I love the idea of doing the honey for drawing prizes.
(Holy crap at 100 people for a baby shower)
I agree.
My friend recently had a 100 ppl co-ed shower and the favors were tiny jars of green M&Ms. If they weren't there, no one would've missed them. But it gave the "shower" feel to the very hip party.
