Best place to buy furniture?
Hi everyone...I haven't been on the nest in a looooong time...but started lurking on the buying a home chatboard. Anyway...it got me thinking that I should come over here for advice on where to find good deals on furniture. We're hoping that escrow to our new house closes in the beginning of July...so I want to get a head start on finding furniture. We're looking at buying a bunk bed and desk for my son, a couple couches and a dining table. Any store recommendations would greatly be appreciated.

I know my brother just bought a bunch of pieces of Ashely furniture at of all places Big Lots (it was overstock) for a great price.

We bought all our furniture at Ashley's Furniture and Cost Plus World Market. Every piece of furniture we own, we bought on a holiday weekend when furniture stores are having sales (Labor Day is coming up, I'm sure you'll find great deals that weekend!) Good luck!
