Visting Nashville - Where's a good place

to stay?

We are coming in over the 4th and I'm trying to narrow down our choices as to where to stay. We would like to be around where there are lots of things to do! :) We normally would stay in a Radisson because we get free stays but I'm not to sure as to the location of them to DT nashville.

OH, and if you have any good restaurant rec's I would love to hear them too!

Thanks!!

Re: Visting Nashville - Where's a good place

  • Before my husband and I moved to Nashville we stayed at the Wydham Union Station. We found that it was very nice and close to anything we wanted to do. HTH
  • Maggiano's is a MUST!!  Fantastic Italian food.  Somewhere near the Nashville airport.

  • It just depends on what area in Nashville you want to stay in, Nashville is huge and has hundreds of hotels. In the Opry Mills area, a new Holiday Inn just opened that is really nice. In the downtown area, I recommend the Hotel Indigo. By the airport, I usually stick with something cheap, like the La Quinta Inn and Suites, which is actually prettty decent. The Preston is also a fixture in that area, but rooms are gonna run ya around $120.
