Drying Racks

I bought a drying rack yesterday to cut down on using the dryer so much. I was surprised to see it was $35 for one considering my mom bought one a few years ago for $12 (but can't remember where.) I need one that folds up pretty well since I live in an apartment and don't have a ton of space.

How much did you pay for yours?

PS- Yes, I'm cheap. =)

Re: Drying Racks

  • $20 for this one at IKEA. It holds a LOT more than my $10 wooden one from Walmart/target.

I was planning on going to IKEA this weekend. I'll check it out. Thanks!

I have that one, and I don't like it... I find it really flimsy and unstable and hard to maneuver.

  • I can be cheap : ) I have 5 or 6 racks from Walmart that could not have cost a lot. My mom and I have been using them for years, so they have held up. LOVE drying racks.
  • I probably paid about $50 for the butterfly drying rack from Joyful Spin Cycle. It was totally worth it though. It's way sturdier than others that I've used and holds a ton.
