Reposted here in case you don't see my very late response!
Hi Joanna,
Sorry it took me so long to respond to your post! To answer your question, I think it really depends on what you want to get out of the class. Are you big on informational content? A spiritual journey? Practicing coping techniques? Where are you birthing? With what type of provider?
Without knowing that info, here's what I would say briefly about the ones that you mentioned:
Hypobirthing- can learned through a class, private one-on-one or self-guided. The most important part is practicing the self-hypnosis everyday, with diligence it is successful, but if not it is not the best at preparing for real coping or mindful knowledge of birthing. It's kind of all or nothing in that way. One suggestion would be that you could supplement with book learning and then practice the hypnosis daily.
Bradley - aka "husband coached" childbirth is very hands on and partnership focused. I suggest contacting the specific instructor(s) in your area beforehand and asking about how gay friendly they are. Most classes are longer than the average CBE series and a very thorough curriculum
BFW - generally you have a "mentor" leading either small group or private one-on-one. You read the book and often keep a journal as you go on the journey of childbirth prep including birth art and visualization. More "new age" than most other programs, although it can depend on your mentor.
Have you asked your care provider for recommendations?
