I like the current rule that applies to homeruns.  There is no way to determine "certain instances" and baseball games are getting longer and longer every season.  You have to draw the line somewhere.

 IMO - there is a reason you have multiple sets of eyes watching the game.  If he wasn't sure about the call he should have asked another ump for a second opinion.

I think "certain circumstances" can be translated into manager's challenge (like in NFL). Limit what kind of calls be reviewed and how many per game, so the mgr uses them judiciously.

that is a horrifying thought. it would take all day to play a game.

I don't even like it in the instance of HRs. I think it should be an all or nothing thing, but I'm kind of black & white like that.
