Hey ladies! It has been a couple of months since I've been on. The last time, I was looking for a job. I did end up finding a really good job as an office manager! I love it!
Quick Question:
My first wedding anniversary is on the June 13th. DH and I are trying to figure out what we should do. We have only been in San Antonio for about 6 months... Any suggestions? TIA
Re: Long Time!
Congrats on the new job!
Last year we went out to the hill country for a long weekend at a B&B. It was really nice
I second Fredericksburg. It isn't that far from SA (and it is a nice drive in the hill country) and there is lots of quaint, relaxing stuff to do. You can pick your own peaches, there is a wildflower farm not far from there, and lots of cute shops along the main street. If you and/or your DH are into history, there is a great WWII Pacific War museum (Admiral Nimitz Museum) and a few wineries.
You can easily do a day trip, but there are some really cute places to stay for a weekend too. DH and I are partial to the creek-side suites at the Inn at Barons Creek . http://www.innonbaronscreek.com/home/ It is about 2 blocks away from Main Street, so you can easily walk to the shops.
