Did we single-handedly bring down the cost of weddings?
When we were planning our wedding,
Cost of Wedding
said that the average cost for weddings for couples who live in our Zip
Code was between $68,384 and $113,974, not even counting rings or the
honeymoon. The average cost in the place where we had our ceremony was
between $57,828 and $96,381. Right now, the relevant figures are
between $32,913 and $54,855 in the place where we live, and between
$30,035 and $50,059 in the place where we had our ceremony. So, did our
$10,000 wedding alone bring the averages both places way down?
