We're going to Disney, and I need HELP!
OK, so my MIL is treating us to a stay in Disney the first week in December. My husbands aunt is buying our tickets down and MIL is putting us up in her timeshare condos from Wed-Monday (she is getting a 1 bedroom suite, and then a single studio for Us). The thing is, we want to fly down Sunday night and stay at a resort / hotel Sun-Wed just the three of us, so we can relax before my MIL runs us ragged.
I dont want to spend a fortune, but I want to go somewhere nice. Not the holiday inn at the airport, know what i mean. The requirements are that we need a fridge for formula to go in. We dont need the whole kitchen, but if it comes with it, great.
HELP!!! Throw some ideas at me ladies. It is just going to be Carl, myself and the baby.. He'll be 3 months old at that point..

Re: We're going to Disney, and I need HELP!
I am open to onsite or offsite really. The first few days are going to be a vacation for husband and I before my Mother in law goes nuts with all the running around she wants to do with a 3 month old, ha-ha!
When we hook up with her, we will be staying at her timeshare at the Old Key West Resort. I love it there..
My favorite moderate is Coronado Springs personally. Good luck, I am a Disney addict!
You can check online, there are usually deals for on resort for this time of year on the disney website. We stayed at the Saratoga Springs, and although its very low key Disney, it was the best resort, by far that we have stayed on on property, and we have stayed at quite a few! We also got an incredible deal on the 1 bedroom suite, so it was worth it compared to the mod prices etc.
Keep in mind you can rent a fridge at the economy resorts, and it comes with with the moderately priced resorts,
Check out the DIS boards. v.helpful, to lurk even.
There are several resorts in Downtown Disney area that are not "on property" but that run bus services, and one is walking distance to downtown disney, where you can hop a bus just about anywhere on resort. I forget the name of it, and we were just in Disney a few weeks ago:)
It's hard. There is a great variety down there. I would also recommend on property, though. After that, it's what your budget will allow. Your little peanut won't notice the difference between hotels, so I would take this opportunity to stay somewhere that appeals to you and Carl.
Going moderate, and slightly on the romantic side, I heard that the Port Orleans and its sister are lovely (the name is escaping me right now, need coffee badly). I had a friend stay there on her honeymoon. That said, Saratoga Springs is also supposed to be wonderful.
