What are your plans for Father's day?
Father's day is also my parent's 40th anniversary so my sisters and grandma are flying in and we are having a Mass dedicated to them and then doing dinner.
For my DH I have no idea. I feel bad because I feel like his first Father's day will be pushed aside because of my parent's anniversary. I need to come up with something so it doesn't feel like that for him.

I got Cam a vacuum and did D-A-D photos. He'll be in Nebraska and I'll be in California, so...kinda sucks for him. He was out of town last year too. Have I mentioned I hate festival season?

He works for a festival ticketing company, so during the summer he's gone 80% of the time.
He'll be in Nebraska working NebraskaLand Days for two weeks. So that's why Ry and I are going home.
The IL's anniversary is during the week before and they will be in Vegas at a resort. BIL also lives in Vegas so we will be driving up the Friday before (which is also DH's bday) and spending the weekend there. DH brought up awhile ago that he wanted to do skydiving for his birthday so I'm looking into us doing that for his bday/father's day gift.

For some reason I've known a few people that have gone lately and I've never been scared of stuff like that so it gave me the idea. Its always been on my bucket list. The indoor one looks fun but if I'm gonna pay for it I want to do the real thing!

i'm a big daddy's girl....so father's day is always a big deal hehe. i'm planning on doing this menu for dinner: http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/menu/views/fathers_day i'm making everything at my house then re-heating in the oven at my parents. dh will be spending the day with my dad and sister while i'm re-heating and decorating. i'm placing tea light candles all over the kitchen counters to make the dinner feel more special. for my dad's gift we are doing a family photo session for my entire fam. but that won't happen until july since our photog will be out of town. dh is a dog-daddy so i'm giving him a 'paw' written card from our dog. hahaha.
My Dad passed away four years ago next week, so we won't be spending Fathers Day with him. We'll probably drive over to Scottsdale to the mausoleum for a little bit, and maybe do dinner or something with my brother/Mum.
Since DHs Dad is in Iowa, we never get to spend it with his folks, and we have no kids yet
I'll be getting DH something small from our cats though. He got me something, so I figured I'll do the same.
We haven't talked about what to do for the dads yet, we will probably see my dad in the AM and CJ's dad in the afternoon. We are babysitting for my sister and BIL the night before so the can have a date night...
So side note, AD, who is my BIL took Kaycee to the doctor today and my sister sent me a picture of Kaycee wearing daddy's hat the same way daddy does (backwards) and she a- was the cutest freaking thing EVER and b- she looks just like here daddy! I just has to share that

There is no mother-effing-way I'd EVER go lol.... I'll keep my feet planted here on Earth and wait for him to fall out of the sky, haha! My brother did it for his birthday one year and I almost had a heart attack watching from the ground, LOL! That'd be cool if Don would go with him though.. I really need to check this out and get him a gift certificate soon...
