I watched the episode of Cake Boss where they do that. Kind of a cool tradition. Hope it turns out yum.
Plans this weekend: Mud run tomorrow morning and then time with the family to celebrate my mommy.
Sun: No plans yey! I love no plans days.
We are packing all weekend. Docs were signed this morning on the house get keys on Tuesday or Wednesday. I'm so M-Fing sick of this whole thing, Last week our paperwork said we were getting money back at closing instead of having to pay anything. Erik went there today to do it all and they asked him for a check for $536. While that isn't bad to only have to pay that at closing, we didn't think we had to pay anything and they didn't call us before hand to say we did... He doesn't carry a check book with him at all times so we have to bring it back to them tomorrow because they were going to be too busy today.
Just annoying and it seems as though everything is a big ole clusterfvck. Hopefully we really do get the keys by next Tues or Wed.
It is the best sauce I've ever had!
We cook a large batch every couple months (now that we use our kitchen) and freeze a couple jars and/or give it away to friends and family.
A: I bet it's yum. I won't front- I have no shame... I use Ragu so I bet your family's home made sauce is WAY better than Ragu.
J: Good luck with the house stuff. As big a pain in the ass as it sounds I'm still way jealous. I want to own a home too. :::sigh::: some day...

Tonight: Unpacking, finishing up setting the living room up as best as we can.
Saturday: FBIL & niece are coming out to work on our front yard (dead from six months+ of neglect) with us. More or less my niece will will hold Bella while I do more unpacking.
Sunday: Rinse & repeat. I need to secure some base kitchen cabinets (unfinished if possible) to build my new desk in the kitchen so I'll probably be off hunting for that.
