Re: mb&d

  • Thanks! Alex is adorable as well. Those newborn pics were great! I've been feeling good, sleep deprived but good. I have my 6 week check-up Monday. I can't believe he'll be 6 weeks on Tuesday. Hopefully I'll get the go ahead to exercise and work on getting the baby weight off.

How are you doing? Is breastfeeding going better? This is quite the adjustment huh? I told DH I'm going to write a book about the realities of a newborn that no one tells you about : )

How exciting! Can't believe Ayden's already 6 weeks. Alex has his 3 week appt on Tuesday (which technically is his 2 week appointment that he's having when he's 3 weeks old).

I've been doing pretty good lately. Breastfeeding has gotten a lot better, which was one of the hardest parts of the couple of weeks, and Alex's umbilical cord stump finally fell off on Friday. Yesterday DH and I had a chance to go out 3 times--to the farmer's market, to dinner, ,and to the movies (the latter two to celebrate our anniversary a day early). DH's parents came to visit for the weekend and they watched the little man for us. It was so nice. AND, Alex slept for a 4-hour stretch last night!

You should definitely write a book! I would've loved to read a "what it's really like" book to prepare me better for the first couple of weeks. It is quite an adjustment.
