Who has a sprinkler system?
Our new house has one that can be programmed for specific days, times, and watering duration for each section of the front and back yards.
How long do you water, and how often? Does your city regulate this? I want to be as green as possible without having a brown lawn that the HOA will come after me for

We also live in CO and yes there are watering regulations in our city. You can go online to look them up for your area. I would just google "Watering schedule for xxx Denver."
That will answer a lot of your questions most likely b/c it will tell you the days and I *think* the amount of time.
