Drinks & Dessert Update!
I posted earlier this week about inviting neighbors for just drinks & dessert and to get to know each other a bit. We had a great time that lasted for about 3 hours plus.
I served sangria, beer & limeade with a little appetizer. I made a pampered chef recipe of cornbread cups and filled them with some shredded chipotle beef I had left over in the freezer topped with some sour cream & cilantro. Yummy!
For dessert, I settled on http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Triple-Berry-Crisp/Detail.aspx?prop31=1 served with ice cream. It was a hit! But what isn't delish that has 2.5 sticks of butter! It was economical, smelled great baking and easy to whip together.
