Park and Ride in Davenport
Does anyone know of a park and ride lot near Davenport? My fiance and I are heading up north-he's heading from Muscatine and I'm coming from Iowa City so we're hoping to meet and Davenport and leave a car there.
Re: Park and Ride in Davenport
I don't. My suggestion would be to see if you could park at one of the hotels @ Hwy 61 and I-80. There is also the Truck Stop in Walcott (at I-80 and Y-40--- Y-40 is Mississippi Street in Blue Grass) that you could park at I have left my car there overnight before. They get so much business at all hours, no one would hardly notice a car was there for days.
How long are you needing to park your car?

I just ended up driving to Muscatine and picking him up. He called the Davenport police to ask where to park and they said Walmart, etc have cameras and watch for that kind of stuff.
I miss Michigan and Wisconsin. They have free Park n' Rides all over the place for carpoolers, etc. The closest one we could find was 25 miles past Dubuque.
