f/u Seeds of Deception review
I asked a couple weeks ago if anyone ahd read it. I'm about 3/4 of the way through it, but I wanted to come on here and give a follow up/partial review. Wow....as far as learning about GMO's, this is a must read. I think by now most of us on here know about our government and their role in our food system. But this shines a whole new horrifying light on it. The FDA/USDA in particular. They touch a little on prescription meds and supplements (many of which have GM ingredients). This whole this with Accutane just has my mind boggling, because that drug was approved by the FDA (most likely with little or no research) and now is banned and the subject of many many lawsuits. The book goes into detail about the L-tryptophan recall...Seriously just chilling.
The book does get a little heavy with all the scientific explanations, but I think it's probably necessary to fully grasp why GMO's are not a good thing. And why we're probably still years away from learning the true cost.
Anyway, so far I definitely recommend picking this up.
