Manic Monday
Best and Worst of your weekend.
Best - Thanks to Aerorea and her husband, finally getting a washer! Plus since they were coming over I was actually motivated to clean up and unpack some stuff, and the house looks a lot better now. My refrigerator is also working correctly, finally (whew!). I was afraid I was going to have to get a new one.
Worst - Being so exhausted.

Best - DH finally told AT&T where they can stick their iPhones and their crappy service, and got us Android phones with Verizon! No more dropped calls!
Worst - Visiting DH's dad and stepmom. By some miracle, I managed to refrain from strangling the woman. Absolutely can't stand her.

best - we hit the pool on Sat and saw Get Him to the Greek. Funny but not SuperBad funny. Oh and my parents did go out and get a new "friend" for their other dog. He's 5mo old and they named him Riley. I forgot to take a pic of him this weekend but I'll get one up soon. He's an Australian Shepherd/Lab/possibly dalmation (he's very spotted like an Oreo) mix. And such a sweet and fun puppy. And yes, he's a pound dog. Adopted from Pickens Co Animal Rescue (they set up shop at the local PetsMart every now and then)
worst - DH and I were both wrecked by 6pm on Sun. Its like we both hit a brick wall. Just overtired and cranky. Nothing like a goooooooooood night of sleep to cure that.

Morning,
Best- Sunday lunch outside, playing Ultimate with the youth group
Worst- the amount of time DH was working on his car last night, I didn't get to bed until after midnight so I'm dragging today.
best: Surprising my dad with Braves vs Tiger tickets for his birthday and spending time with my family
worst: The drama of my Friend who is dating my BIL. I don't think it's working out and it's getting horrible.
best: shopping with mom saturday, and getting our new mailbox put up sunday!
worst: finding out our weekend producer called out BOTH days this weekend, after calling out 2 days last week...i'm gonna be SO pissed if she quits and my schedules gets jacked up during my last 2 weeks.
My Shopping Blog
Best - most of the weekend, actually. Our friends' baby shower was very nice and I got to see some folks I hadn't seen in a while. As P&R said, we delivered DH's old washer to her house and took his dryer to another friend's apartment. DH nearly did a happy dance when we got home and he saw how much more space we had, lol! Now all we have to do is get the roommate moved out so he can take his couch and chair, and we'll have the garage back to normal.
Worst - feeling a bit ill on Saturday night. Stupid stomach issues, grr!
Best: Dixie Hwy Yard Sale was a lot of fun! There was a lot of crap, but there was also some cool things. We also saw Iron Man 2, and it was fun, but not quite as good as the first one.
Worst: I burned my neck and check a little on Saturday from bad sunscreen application. Also, we went to the neightborhood block party Saturday night, and I realized that I'm not too fond of some of the people that live on our street.
Best: Getting out of Athens for a couple days and visiting a ton of friends in Atlanta - we also went to Trader Joe's for the first time and had Sunday brunch with DH's extended family.
Worst: Friday was my Dad's birthday and he insisted on getting a new kayak. He just bought a new X3 and was pissed that he was banging it up trying to put the kayak on top. We didn't know where we were going, and got lost in Gwinnett with the kayak falling off the roof and everyone yelling at each other - rough night.
best- great riding lesson sat.
worst- missing GA and all my friends and DH and I getting in a fight over nothing last night.
Best: Enjoying my last weekend at home for the summer with DH
Worst: Getting a blister after hiking Sweetwater Creek
