Oh, the billboard thing...
I meant to take a picture, maybe I will next week at my next appointment.
My OB's office has these GIANT plate glass windows. The office is on the second floor of an office building. Right next to these giant windows is a billboard that looks to be about 5 feet away. And staring in these giant windows on the billboard is...Bloody Mary. I had to laugh. I'm sure those women going in for their appointments are NOT happy to be stared at by her.
Re: Oh, the billboard thing...
Now I am picturing you spread eagle in the stirups saying "Welcome to Orlando!"
Please tell me your OB office has blinds.
But people choose to go to HHN to be scared. Women goign to their ob appt dont...you know?? I dont know, I'm with whoever said just take all billboards down...they are usually junk anyways
When DH and I saw those billboards this past weekend we knew they would be the talk of the town. Lo and behold, this morning there was an article in the Sentinel about them and the online version of the article has over 300 comments. It's doing exactly what Universal hoped, it got people talking which in advertising is called free press.
We think the billboards are creepy, especially at night when her eyes glow! But it's all fun and games and if everyone kept their mouths shut and ignored the ads, Universal would do something else. I'm willing to bet they leave those up for a couple of weeks until the buzz dies down and then replace them with a more toned down version which will get people talking again.
