So yesterday we went to see Get Him to the Greek. I somehow missed all the previews for this movie, but am so glad our friends suggested it! It was hilarious!! It has Russell Brand and Jonah Hill and is a spinoff/sequel of Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
It had lots of good jokes! I was actually loling at some parts which is rare for me at the movies. It's a good pace and just a great comedy. The only comment of warning I have is there is some raunchyness at points and one scene that is a bit uncomfortable and seems unnecessary. But it's nothing too bad and definitely doesn't ruin the movie by any means.
Re: Movie Review
I heard in an interview with Jason Segel that the original character in FSM was supposed to be a stuffy british author. When Russell Brand auditioned, they were so impressed that they rewrote the part for him and made him a rock star - and now he gets a spinoff!
Is Jonah Hill the same character as he was in FSM?
I guess you'd say he's the developed character. He works for a music studio, and he is a huge fan of Aldous Snow. I don't remember Jonah Hill too well from FSM, but I'd assume he's the same character with a different job. Though I do know that Aldous doens't know him when they first meet.
