Would a mom-to-be better like one of those Boppy Pillows, or a diaper bag that she registered for?  This is one of my best friends, but she and I have VERY different taste so it's challenging for me to buy something other than what she's registered for.  The items are priced similarly, but the Boppy is with Babies R Us, and the Diaper Bag is with Pottery Barn kids, if any of you moms have had better/worse experience (especially with shipping!) from either of these stores.

I don't have experience with shipping from either of these stores.  Sorry!  However, if she is registered for both items, then I don't think you can go wrong!  The Boppy is useful for so many different things.  Since she has registered for the diaper bag, then you don't have to worry about your differing taste!  I would look and see if there is a coupon you could use for either place.  That might be my deciding factor.

I completely agree with PP that I don't think you could go wrong with either fi she is registered for both.  I would probably lean towards the diaper bag, but I don't really have any reasoning for that.  And if you wanted to make it a bit more interesting, you could fill it with some diaper wipes, a rattle, some baby shampoo and other small items.  But in the end I would probably do some coupon searching to see if I could get a deal on either one.

I have dealt with shipping through Pottery Barn (just the regular catalog) and it was great.  Somehow I got free shipping and it was super fast!

I would go for the Boppy, that is a must have item right away, and we got a lot of use out of it. I even brought it to the hospital with me in labor. I have done shipping through PBK a few times and never had any issues with them, I have been pleased. If you are near a BRU you can probably just run in and get the Boppy, and you can sometimes find coupons online.

I don't think you can go wrong with either. I've not had trouble with shipping from either. I have used my Boppy every day since Zoe was born. It's great for nursing and Zoe likes to play with it. Diaper bags are very useful, too.
