Either I am stupid or the Post Office is

I am trying to mail a DVD to my cousin.  It's. Not. Working.  She lives in Boston,  I have written out her mailing address as clearly as I can,  I have taken the thing in to the Post Office to mail it so it gets proper postage.  It has been returned twice for insufficient postage.  She is starting to hate me because she doesn't have the DVDs yet.  I'm going to have to upload it onto a website so she can download it and burn it. This is getting super frusterating.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say it's *not* you. I sent the same package 3 times via Canada Post and it kept coming back for insufficient postage. Like, you weighed it, measured it, and then charged me to send it and it keeps coming back?! Really? So irritating.

My friend hand delivered my birthday card after it came back insufficient postage.  It wasn't the weight - it was the size.  Funny thing is, D's was the same size, mailed with mine and it came through okay. 

The kicker - the sticker on it said it was short by 4 cents!

When I send stuff to the US, I use those expresspost envelope things....  probably a bit more money, but I get the tracking feature.  (Only bad experience I had was one item take 1 month to get delivered - good news was that I got my money back since the item did not arrive in the guarenteed time)

that would be so annoying! I'd blame the post office. Have you been taking it to the same place each time? Maybe a different store/counter could get it right for a change.
