San Diego Nesties
Dear Community,

Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.

Thank you.

Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.

Terra

Thanks for all the great advice on the daycare options.  She won't need to go into daycare immediately after we move.  Since we're moving in December I start looking in November.

We're buying a house in the Eureka Springs development, which I believe is on the east side of Escondido.  But I'm not to good with my directions.

Thanks for the offer of help.  I'll be certain to ask if I have more questions.

Re: Terra

  • Yup, thats on the east side of town.  Its pretty much the newest part of town in terms of housing development...we have a no-growth intiative so you wont find lots of track developments springing up.

You will be right by the Escondido Humane Society, so if you like animals and have some free time you can go volunteer.  Likewise, there is a nice sized dog park right next door which is great if you have a dog.  There is also a Mexican horse park tucked away behind the humane society..so dont get freaked out if you hear Norteno music on weekends.
