WOW. Where are these kids parents?

We had our final walk through on our house on Saturday.  Getting keys tomorrow or Wednesday.  But when we walked up, one of the fences was completely torn down and there was a brand new window in one of the bedrooms.

Apparently a 10... Yes 10 year old boy and his buddy have been going around to the vacant houses in the area and ruining them.  There was also what looked like Poo splattered on the outside.  So RAD.  The tore down the one fence so we have to get that replaced and they also broke the window of one of the rooms.  Luckily the seller had that replaced, and he has now started staying there to keep them from doing anything more to it.

The kids Mom came over while we were there to see the damage he had done and then had her son come over and apologize to us for doing that to our new house.  I'm pretty sure he was scared of E.  Which I guess is good.  LOL

I'd hate to see what they've done to the other houses.  Indifferent

  • Yah, sorta in the sense that she made him come apologize but not in the sense that she's going to pay to fix what he damaged.  I guess thats better than making excuses for why he did it.

It made me have the "Um where the F are we moving to" when I first saw Sh*t flung to the side of the house.

oh, yikes.  but wouldn't the current owner go after her for the damages?

  • You would think but he wants this whole process over we are just waiting to get the keys the loan is in funding today.  He doesn't want to do anything more with this house.  It was his parents house and they had been out of it for 2 years before they died so he's been having to keep it up for 2 years with nobody living there.
