Any idea where I can get one? My living room has 4 normal size windows next to each other and I would like to get a rod that extends the length of all 4 of them, however, that seems to be longer than the normal size rod and therefore I can't seem to find one. Thoughts?

Re: extra long curtain rod
hmmm- how long you talking? I just bought some from Ikea this weekend that goes to 152" but if that isn't long enough, you can choose to add another rod to the end (in the photos it shows finials on each end but you can leave those off and keep the ends blunt) to extend it. Best news is they are $9.99 and you can choose from silver or black.

Also, we have used dowel rod type wood that we get cut at Home Depot. It's about $2 a foot and you of course can go as long as you want (they are like 15 ft long but you can cut down/add end to end, etc). I have bought those for the boys room and spray painted them. They are just wood dowels that are about 1.5" round.

also from ikea, we bought this since we have funky angles in our dining room:

the wire is pretty long and you can buy extra fixtures to make it longer if needed. and it's cheap! but I'm not sure if you can use heavier curtains.
