Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

My hand
is getting so swollen!! It hurt like crazy this morning, and after spending 2 hours at the Social Security office (on the way to official name change! yay!) I went to the minute clinic at CVS, where I found out that they don't accept my insurance (damn you duke for being picky) and had to go to urgent care, and they told me that my hand is definitely infected, put me on antibiotics, and told me to watch for spreading. If it spreads they need to drain it. Ugh. Please send some nestie vibes this way. Pretty please.
Luckily though, the doctor told me that he told the people not to call animal control. Thank god. I don't know what I'd do if animal control came knocking and took my cat and euthanized her because she bit me because she was scared. It was my fault anyway. I put the leash on her and took her out even though she didn't like it, and I didn't bring her in as soon as we saw the dog. 
If it doesn't get better by Wednesday I have to go to the ER or my primary doctor for them to send me to an orthopedist. Blach.

Nestie vibes to you!!! The same thing happened to my mother- she got scratched really bad by a cat and it got really infected. Like pp said, make sure you keep it clean and keep taking your antibiotics and you should hopefully be good!!!
