Flushing toilets

The post down below about where to store your toothbrush made my stomach churn! I immediately told MH and moved my toothbrush away from the sink (even though mine has a toothbrush cover, I still moved it to be safe). I also told MH to try to remember to cover the toilet before he flushes.

But the whole thing got me thinking, about all the gross stuff that must fly onto us when we use the bathroom outside of our home... work, stores, the airport, etc. And there is no toilet cover to save us from it. Ewwwwwwwww!!!!

LOL this is why I hit the button/lever, then fling myself toward the stall door. Not dignified, but it helps me hope I'm coming out less coated in germs.

True, but think about how strong our immune systems must be since we ecounter all of that stuff and don't get sick from it.  I am a huge fan of handwashing...it's quick and easy and works!
