Update on My Dog and His Tumor
We got the lab results back today and everything looks a-okay! I knew the fatty tumors were pretty common in dogs, but since he's so young, the vet was a tiny bit concerned. I guess our dog may just be prone to fatty tumors. The vet said that we'll just always keep an eye out for them and even if he gets another one, we may not have to take it out, it'll depend on its location.
Anyway, he's recovering nicely and I feel much much better about things. 
Plus, we've been very careful about spending during the last couple of weeks, so I think we'll be able to pay off our credit card (with the whole $800ish from the 3 vet bills) without using any from savings. Phew! Thanks again for your help, ladies!
