Seems that movie Lakeview Terrace

is modeled after my situation with our former neighbor. Hmm...I wonder if there are any screenwriters here taking ideas from our lives. LOL.

I used to post about this situation all the time. Our former [duplex] neighbor was an LAPD officer and he was conducting some shady activity in the house. After every questionable event or encounter with him(and we feared for our safety) we would call out the cops - it probably happened 5 or 6 times in less than 6 months. We never broke the law, but we were the ones who were threatened to be arrested. The guy even pulled a gun on me when I [politely] knocked on their door. He would also clean his gun and polish his boots on the front steps of the house while his kids were riding their bikes in front of him and try to stare us down. Okay. There was so much going on with this whole thing, I'm pretty sure I posted about all of it.

So now this movie is out and we live in a new place, but it takes me back to that [emotional] place everytime I see a commercial or billboard. The commercials totally depict this guy too. It's eerie.

::::shudder::::
