Something to share with the college football fans on the board.... this is a funny rendition of the recent events that are happening with the Big 12 shake-up. Hope someone else here finds this as amusing as I did.

Re: Big 12 Angry Men
Um, love it. That's ALL I hear right now is this stupid conference realignment. This was freaking classic.
I hope we stay as Big 12. Going Pac-10 just isn't the same. Besides, I thought we were non-profit orgs...leaving for money would be illegal, right?
Thanks for posting this.
That was a funny post. But this whole situation is stressful...says the KU alum.
What is funny is that my family who are OSU alums are still bitter about the last realignment--I'll have to call and see if their heads explode over this new business.
I'm an OSU alum...but I graduated two years ago, so I'm not quite sure how things were when we went to Big 12 ten (i think it was 10) years ago. That's all I know is Big 12.
I feel so freaking bad for the Kansas schools. KU has this rockin' basketball program, and what - six schools bolt for the Pac-10, Nebraska and Mizzou go Big Ten, and what? KU, K-State, Iowa State and Baylor get left to dry? KU goes to a crappy conference where their basketball program will absolutely dominate, but they won't get respect because they play somewhere much smaller than Big 12?
This whole situation is lame. I'm waiting to hear what our AD has to say about it. I'm not a fan of him though, so I'll probably just ignore him and keep listening to the sports guys talk about it.
Born and raised in Houston, but did live in Austin for the college years. I'd love to get back to the hill country living at some point, if the career opportunity arises. ATX is definitely the best city in this grand state!
HERE is one more link that is also pretty funny - picturing the B12 schools as cheerleaders at the lunch table.
Finding humorous anectdotes like these are keeping me sane during this truly intense off-season.
