Hi everyone.

I went to the ultrasound last night expecting to hear the heartbeat and find out the sex. I was sadly mistaken. There was no heartbeat. I lost the baby. Im going today for a D&C. DH and I have so many emotions right now. I just hope the next one sticks. We are trying again as soon as we can.

Kim, I am so sorry for your loss.  I was afraid that this was the case when I saw your status on fb.  I cannot even begin to imagine how you feel.  Know that I am here if you want to talk.  I am absolutely devistated for you guys.  I will be thinking of you both and pray that you are able to get pregnant quickly next time and that you have a healthy pregnancy next time.  Know that all of us here support you and are here for you.  Again, I am so so so sorry.

Kim, obviously nothing can replace the baby that you've lost, but i wanted to share a story with you. DH's best friend and his wife were expecting twins and lost them at 21 weeks, right before Christmas. One year after that, she was 7 months pregnant with their daughter Autumn who is a beautiful, healthy 16 month old. So it is really sucky now, and it will probably always be hard, but it is good that you are looking forward too. I've been thinking about you all day.
