What's your fav local activity to do in the summer? If your not from the QC, what do you like to do when you visit?

Lately ours has been West Lake. We went out and rode the paddle boats when it first got nice. Then we spent all day there on memorial day playing bags and frizbee and grilling out. We'd like to get back and hit the beach soon! It's close to our house and free/inexpensive!
The other thing we love to do is to walk along the river trails and feed the ducks. Also close to home, but you see something new every time.
We love the zoo. We've been twice this year already. Tip - Tuesday is half price day.
We usually catch at least one River Bandits game.
Not a QC thing, but we always hit up the Tanger Outlets over Memorial Day weekend.
We like to go to Whitey's because they are so awesome! We take our dogs up to the dog park in Bettendorf (huge park!). We have gone up in the past to Maquoketa State Park and the Drive-in. I am interested in going to down Wildcat Den sometime.
Honestly, when we come to the QC we spend alot of time chillin' at the parental units house because we are lame.
I love all the suggestions! This is a way out from the Quad Cities but I love going out to Lake MacBride to hang out at the beach and kayak for the day. It reminds me of home in Upper Michigan a little bit.
I've been to Wildcat Den and it is a really cool place. I love the running trails!
