Hi,
I saw your post on building with Fisher. We are currently trying to decide between Fisher and a small custom builder (Dunn Custom Homes). We have an appointment to tour some of Dunn's Homes next week and they sound like just what we are looking for with a builder.
Do you mind me asking what community you are looking at? And what your experience with Fisher has been like so far?

Hi,
We are currently looking at Villa Grande in Ft. Thomas with Ficsher. The person we are working with (Cameron) has been very nice and he's pretty open and honest. He hasn't been pushy at all.
I don't know if I've even seen any of Dunn's homes, but you should be able to tell a big difference in quality between them and Fischer. Every custom home builder we've seen has been really nice and great quality. I'm not saying Fisher isn't, but with custom home builders, they aren't building 25 homes at once... they are building 1 or 2. Out of curiousity what part of town are you looking at with Dunn?

They will build any where in Ky....but the owner has his home and two others in Walton (Salem Country Estates). We like some of the lots in that sub-division so we might just build there if we like his homes.
We are working with Kellie at Fisher (she has been great!) and looking at Meadow Glen. We liked it because it was a little more low key for a Fisher development. But as you can imagine we are having a tough time getting everything we want and fitting into the price range for the homes. I really do not want to be the most expense in the development. They have suggested moving us to Trails of Doe Run (we would like to stay around independence), but we dont like any of the remaining lots.
We are touring the Dunn homes next weekend...so I can let you know our impression if you would like...
